The Power Back Up Kit U3 Mega 10.8 kWh 48V is a kit to build a grid-tied Power Back Up System with a 5-hour battery back-up storage for loads of up to 40 kWh a day. The system will automatically use the battery during a main outage i.e. when power from the grid is not available. The batteries will be charged again when the power from the grid becomes available. This is a perfect system for load shedding support - the less load you put on the system the longer the battery will last.
This 48 V kit is made up of (depending on availability):
- Victron MultiPlus-II 48/8000/110-100 - an 8 kVA Victron inverter/charger
- high-quality I-G3N 10 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery
- Victron GX communication module - for online monitoring of your system
