The Victron SolidSwitch 104 is a solid state switch that will switch DC loads of up to 70V/4A and can be controlled by a low power digital signal. The most common use for this device will be to turn an alternator on and off based on a signal from a Lithium Battery BMS, like the Victron Lithium BMS range.
The DC load can be resistive, capacitive or inductive (such as the coil of a high-power contactor).
The Solid Switch is not reverse polarity protected and not short circuit proof.
